She has become much more than someone who simply teaches me math. Even though our classes happen online, I have always felt a sense of comfort and connection with her. Her patience, kindness, and understanding mindset has made my learning experience truly precious . Whenever I struggle with a difficult topic she takes the time to explain it to me and her encouragement gives me the confidence to keep trying instead of giving up. I know that I might not always be the ideal student. There have been times when I have tested her patience, and there may have been occasions when I failed to inform her beforehand that I could not attend a class. I understand that these actions may have disappointed or frustrated her, and I honestly feel sorry for that. What means so much to me is that, despite these mistakes, she has never stopped being kind to me. Instead of being harsh, she politely corrects me and uses these moments to teach me important values such as responsibility, discipline, honesty, and consideration for others. What makes her especially important to me is that she listens to me beyond academics. I can talk to her about my opinions, thoughts, and struggles at school, and she patiently listens without making me feel judged. Sometimes, simply having someone listen and understand can make a difficult day feel a little easier. I truly appreciate that she gives me that space. I may not be a perfect student, and I still have many things to improve about myself, but I am grateful that she continues to guide me with patience and understanding.
