Sumit Mishra

He teaches on 1to1 basis and focuses on every small detail. He has a very deep understanding of Hindustani vocals. I am learning from past 4 years and can vouch for him.

Extremely knowledgeable of music, very good teacher and has a philosophy towards music

So many reasons. He is more than a teacher he is like a guru who guides you through the music and life. You will feel a vertain grace when you sit with him in a music class. And when you somg along with him you just get absorbed by music. That's my experience

Sir ki sabse badi khoobi ye hai ki inse seekhna bilkul aisa lagta hai jaise aap apne bade bhai se sangeet seekh rahe ho, sir ka apnapan sneh seekhane ka tareeka adbhut hai, sir sangeet ke sath sath humesha mujhe jeevan ki seekh bhi dete the, kabhi aage mauka mila too firse mai music learning resume karunga, Har cheez ke liye apka dhanyawad sir, aap humesha mere Guru rahenge🙏

Good knowledgeable teacher and also a good kind heated human being as well who is very well connected to his roots

Bahut achha sikhate hai sar. Individual class lete hai, total attention. Strongly recommended.

Sumit sir is a wonderful teacher. His contribution towards music and his disciples is remarkable.

With deep respect and reverence for my Guru, Pandit Sumit Mishra Ji, I feel privileged to share a few words about him. What drew me to him from the very beginning is his genuine humility and simplicity. He carries a rare gift as an educator—effortlessly adapting his guidance whether he is nurturing a young beginner or mentoring an experienced musician. In today's fast-paced world, he remains deeply rooted in the core traditions and cultural heritage of Indian Classical music, offering wisdom that extends far beyond notes and riyaz to teach us invaluable lessons for life.

He has been teaching me Hindustani Classical music since last 5 years and he is a brilliant teacher. He has very in depth knowledge of classical music.

He is a great teacher, very knowledgeable. Remains updated with the latest due to his frequent stage performances. Very supportive and encourages the students.

Awesome teacher, makes learning very interesting and enjoyable. Has vast and deep knowledge of Hindustani classical music. Maintains interest by teaching variety of semi-classical forms and Hindi cinema classics too.

He the the best vocal teacher I have seen so far. He is the first vocal teacher I have seen who just want to teach students as much as possible, and in a quality manner

Very diligent and inspiring teacher. He teaches my daughter.

HE IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. HE TAUGHT ME TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND MY TALENT EVEN AT THE AGE OF 60.
