Learning Carnatic music under Midhun Sir has been a great blessing for me. When he teaches, he makes sure that students understand not only the lessons but also the beauty and depth of the music. He explains every swar with great patience and also teaches the theoretical aspects of Carnatic music in a clear and engaging manner. Apart from the regular syllabus, Sir gives us additional activities and teaches bhajans, keerthanas, and other classical-based songs at the end of the session, which help us improve our gamakas and understand raags better. He encourages us to sing the arohanam and avarohanam of different raags, helps us become familiar with their unique characteristics, and trains us to transition smoothly from one raga to another. I always feel comfortable and encouraged in his class. The care and guidance he gives make learning from him a truly special experience. I am very grateful to be his student.
